About McLaughlins

Mike and Julann are proud of the quality of their three young stallions, The Flashy King,
Real Dude, and Smart Chic O Dry. They have the bloodlines, dispositions, color, and
athletic ability to put some outstanding all-around colts in your barn.

Mike and Julann McLaughlin have been in the horse business for 27 years. Their facility
includes 42 stalls, an indoor arena, indoor round pen, outdoor arenas, and a western store.
The business encompasses the breeding, training, buying, selling, and boarding of horses.

McLaughlins also put on clinics and seminars, as well as give riding lessons.

Avid believers in the 4-H program, Mike and Julann have been area 4-H horsemanship
leaders for the past 15 years, working with between 40-60 youngsters each year.
They also work with the county therapeutic riding program. They belong to the
Lakeway Horsemen's Association and numerous professional organizations.

Their eldest son, Jay, who recently married Wendy Cunningham, is training reining, cutting,
and working cowhorses out of their barn. Curt who also grew up showing horses is currently
attending college and majoring in Business Administration.
