  • CCCB Womens Day and Luncheon
    • Women’s Day & Luncheon: “Flip Flops, Faith, and Friends.” Day will feature Julie Gariss as the main speaker. Julie is the wife of Randy (our Men’s Banquetspeaker) and together they have served College Heights Christian Church for 27 years. She has a passion for teaching the Word of God, and has spoken at women’s retreats and conventions across the United States. Workshops will also be presented by Anne Menear and Kathy Craig. Anne is a CCCB professor and youth minister for the Callao Christian Church. Kathy and her husband, Tim, serve together at the Shiloh Christian Children’s Ranch. The day begins at 9:00 a.m. and the luncheon will be at 12:15 p.m. Child care will be provided during the day.     • Relay for Life of Randolph County will have Committee Meetings at 5:30pm and Team Captain Meetings at 6pm at Gratz Brown Elementary.

April 8

  • Tri County Amateur Radio Class
    • Tri-County Amateur Radio (Ham Club) will have a Weather Spotting Class at St. Pius X Gym from 7-9pm. The class will be given by the weather service from Pleasant Hill and the speaker will be Andy Bailey. There is no charge for this class and for more information call 269-8474.
  • NARVRE Meeting
    • NARVRE will meet at the VFW at 10:30am.

April 9

  • Bowl for Kids Sake
    • Get a team together and have the time of your life! Big Brothers Big sisters is hosting Bowl for Kids Sake at Community Lanes in Moberly on April 9th and April 11th. On April 9th teams will be bowling from 10 pm to midnight and on April 11th from 1 pm to 3 pm. Teams consist of five people and teams are asked to raise a minimum of $300 to participate. Bonuses of snacks and t-shirts for all who participate. The best part is that all money raised will stay in Moberly for our local Big Brothers Big Sisters Program.

April 10

  • Indoor Swap Meet
    • Indoor Swap Meet at the new Multipurpose Lodge at Rothwell Park from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. The booth space fee will be $15 per booth. To register for this event call 263-6757. Hope to see you there!

    • Moberly Area Community College Alumni Association annual Alumni and Friends Banquet at the Heartland Banquet Center. From 5:30-6:30 social hour with buffet dinner, business meeting, program and awards to follow.
  • Community Daycare Breakfast
    • Community Daycare will have a Pancake Breakfast from 7-11am to celebrate their 39th year.
  • American Red Cross Training
    • First Aid/CPR/AED Training for the Lay Responder, held at the American Red Cross office at 109 N. Williams at 8am. Course fees apply and pre-registration is required. Certification is valid for one year. Please call (660) 263-1763 or visit www.redcross-midmo.org for more information or to register for a course. Discount coupons are available at the Red Cross office.
