On Jan 1, 1999 Landzunge Kennels will be permanently closing our boarding facility. This decision came with a great deal of thought and tremendous sadness. We have enjoyed the past 7 years in the business, meeting many wonderful people who entrusted the care of their very muched loved pets to us in their absence.

The decision to close had many factors involved. First and foremost, due to the decline in boarding reservations the last 2-3 years, we were operating just above the red. As a licensed facility, we were required to carry insurance, pay the yearly license fees, per capita tax, business license, maintain the facilty to standards, etc. All of which can devour the monies earned quickly, and with the decline in reservations we cannot continue to operate.

We will, however, continue pet grooming. We are in the process of converting our boarding facility into a new grooming shop which should be ready by early spring. There will be no disruption of service to regular or new clients until the new shop is completed. We have changed the name to KATIE'S CREATIVE STYLES, same phone # 660-266-3264 and same location.
