Holliday C-2 School lost a special student and friend in 1999. Kevin Arnett died following a month of treatment for Leukemia.
Kevin's friends offered many memorials of love and friendship.

Students, teachers and friends released blue and white balloons with messages of love into the sky in memory of Kevin.

Family and friends gathered with Kevin's schoolmates and teachers to help plant a red maple tree in his memory.
University Medical Center doctors, who had treated Kevin, donated and helped plant the tree in the school yard.
Each one present planted a daffodil around the tree.
Spring will bring a reminder of Kevin's spirit for life.
